[PERSONALITY]

He's cold, manipulative and uncaring to those he deems unworthy of his attentions and can be known to be cruel to those who irritate him. Mentally unstable at times, Sephiroth finds himself switching between being cold and logical then in the next heart beat to enjoying carnage, making Sephiroth dangerously unpredictable no matter his current state of mind. He still harbours his raw hatred for the human race, and has no hesitation to bring a swift death to any should they cross his path.

[HISTORY]

Originally raised to be an assassin, Sephiroth was trained from birth to become the ‘perfect’ weapon for his race in the war against their Demonic half. Extremely successful in his endeavours his skills with a sword and the sheer capacity which he took care of his targets made Sephiroth quickly became a legendary figure. Once his mission was complete and their enemies disposed of though, Sephiroth found himself without purpose as his side had to fallen prey to the stronger race, leaving him without direction until he came across a young demonic infant.

His first instinct was to simply dispose of the child but found himself unable to follow through with the act, something which had confused him. Instead Sephiroth took the child in as his charge, deciding upon training them with the skills he had been given as his own self-assigned mission.

After a dispute with his self-chosen ward, Sephiroth’s already lacking like for humanity fell even more into hatred as their dispute drove them apart, and Cloud into the care of these humans. Enraged that Cloud would even consider forming any kind of bond with these ‘humans’, Sephiroth dropped all else he was doing in order to teach his wayward charge the fact that they were destined for nothing but the darkness which they were born into and the fact that Cloud would never live within his shadow.
